Order Reports

A group shop from Hotel Information Service will provide you with pertinent information as to how your competitor hotels handle group requests. You may use the criteria to your own specifications. We shop AV pricing, F & B minimums, room rates, meeting space rental, and anything else you may want to know. We also provide a comment section. The cost is based up to 5 competitor hotels.

Calling is the key function of our shopping. Our agents are trained to obtain accurate and affordable information. This is how the process works: Our office receives a Group Shop Request Form-filled out by the client. (This is where the client will fill out what type of group (Corporate, Association, Government etc); Number of rooms; Dates; Number of people; audiovisual needs; Food and Beverage needs; and additional comments they are trying to find out - attrition, cancellation policy, etc. - you name it, we’ll get you the information.) The request form gets processed and sent out to the Group Shop Team. Immediately they begin calling the hotels noted. There is a lot of correspondence that then begins with the agent and the hotel's contact. We have emails and e-voice for call backs. Our agents try to get most of the information on the first call; they also request proposals for back up. The information gets sent back to the office, and our data entry people will get the report ready to be sent off to the client via email.

Turnaround time is 5 business days.

Group Shop $79.00 | Pricing includes up to Five Competitors

  • Order 12 Group Shops per year, and you pay $69.00 per shop.
  • Sign Corporate 1 year contract, and you pay $54.00 per shop. (12 Group Shops per year)
  • Each additional competitor hotel is $10.00 more.

We offer a discount for Corporate Agreements, please call for additional information and pricing.

One of our promises to you: If you are not satisfied with your report, just call us and we can re-shop the questionable accounts with no charge to you. This ensures you are getting the information you need and we are in the business to make you happy and obtain more business in the future. Our turnaround time is QUICK! If you request a certain deadline, we will do our best to meet it. Usually shops are completed within a week of ordering, most of the time however, it is sooner.
